This chapter is about the liberation of Israelites from the Egyptian slavery. God directly intervenes into the lives of the Israelites and liberate them. This chapter also gives the message that God saves us from the bondage of sin.

This chapter can be presented through a discussion There is specialty in meals at homes on special occasions. There is a day in every year when everyone at home gather together, have meals with special prayers and rituals. Which is that day? If needed, teacher can give more clues. Children might answer ‘ passover’. Then the teacher narrates more on Passover and explains about the Old Testament Passover.
