Presentation of the lesson

Which day do you like most in a week and why? Teacher should lead the discussion in such a way that the answer should be Sunday. Divide the whole class into groups and ask them to find out the specialties of Sunday. Teacher shall be extra vigilant to present the importance of Sunday rather than just being a holiday. Through this she/he can present the theme of Sabbath and then may proceed to the chapter.

Ask children to write down about their parish church; date of foundation stone laid, blessed on, patron, main feast, number of families etc. parish directory, souvenir etc can be provided as guides.
Let us do:

Ask each group to prepare a list of activities that they can do on Sundays. Make a consolidated list after having presented in the class and decide to execute them. Make a regular scrutiny to make sure that they follow it. Make sure that only what is possible and simple tasks are given.
