Chapter Context

The Presentation is the scene where God the Father reveals His Son to the world. For 30 years, he lived with his parents in a small house in Nazareth, unknown to anyone. God the Father is revealing the Son to the world at baptism. Through baptism, the message is given that we, the children of God, are also called to live a life worthy of God's children.

- Jesus received baptism from John the Baptist at Jordan. During baptism, God revealed that Jesus is His Beloved Son. - We become God’s children through baptism.
Attitude

- We should be thankful to God who gives us the grace to become children of God through baptism.
- We must live a life appropriate for children of God.
Habit

- Do not lose the rights we received through baptism by sin.
- We must praise and worship the God who gave us the
right to be called as children of God.

Presentation of the lesson

Allowing students to share experiences of the celebrations of baptism connect to the contents of lesson. Stress on the fact that baptism gives us the right to be called as children of God.
